With San Sebastian’s idyllic coast on the Bay of Biscay and its romantic hilly cityscape, the city is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Spain. Even though the population is relatively small- 186,095- San Sebastian has gained international attention with its cultural events like the San Sebastián International Film Festival.

Kursaal

Designed by Spanish architect Rafael Moneo, the 1,800-seat concert hall opened in 1999. The Palacio de Congresos-Auditorio Kursaal is comprised of several spaces, and is the home of the biggest film festival in Spain, the San Sebastian International Film Festival.
